Perfect Pad Thai
The secret to making good pad thai is to find the right version for you. If you have a lot of people to serve and no time to make pad thai, you can buy the Amy's frozen version and add extra noodles, peanuts, and a squeeze of lime, with the Sriracha on the side. If it's just for you, buy Amy's frozen version or the instant version by Dr. McDougall's.
If you have time, try your hand at this simple recipe for a mouth-watering meal. You can always buy the shrimp deveined or substitute with chicken, beef, or drained, extra firm tofu. Crumble the peanuts in the food processor and leave plenty on the side. Tip: Make extra noodles and keep the "heat" to a minimum. Not everyone likes spicy! Try Simple Kitchen's recipe (shown) here...
Super fast and easy, you can make these with puff pastry or buy the frozen Goya dough. We usually fry ours and add a bit of cayenne in the mix to give it a little kick. Use ground beef, chicken, shrimp, or for a veggie version, make the ingredients with rice and cheese. Just be sure your meat, if you use it, is thoroughly cooked. You can also use spaghetti sauce as a dipping sauce. Now that's what we call, "Yum-tabulous!"
