Want the best gospel workout during Covid? Or, the best church exercises? Ready to dance for Jesus? You've come to the right place for Christian kickboxing, gospel zumba and church exercise.
In 2020, the devil thought he had us. God's people faced demonic attacks, race riots, violence, Covid-19 and lockdowns. Then we had unemployment stress, job losses, shutdown and work-from-home orders and the election. But, the devil is a LIAR! Similarly to how a butterfly must emerge from a cocoon, it's time to kick out of that OLD shell - and take those grave clothes off. Ask Father God to renew your mind so you don't look back. It's time to KICK IT INTO HIGH GEAR and do the NEW thing God has for you!
Heading into the holidays, Father God wants us focusing on fun ways to bring our families, friends and church families together. From doing things that add value to listening to Messages From God, we can ride the fresh wind of God because it will get better!
We invite you to share this page with your church family, too. Some areas of the country will have warmer weather and services outdoors. That means you can maintain social distancing guidelines and have fun!
If you're ready to get your heart rate pumping, Father God gave us a few ideas for activities. These can help you stomp that devil down!
These include:
Kickboxing, Tae Bo and Other Cardio Activities: These can help you burn calories and reduce stress. They're also heart-healthy and lower blood pressure.
Self-Defense Classes: Father God doesn't want His Chosen Ones living in fear. These basic techniques can protect kids, adults and seniors. NO weapons formed against YOU shall prosper!
Potato Sack, 3-Leg and Relay races and Tug-of-War: Get ready to fall over laughing! And, if you have a church ministry, please share these game ideas with your congregants. As social distancing eases and with the Thanksgiving holiday, these can keep everyone from getting bored especially if malls and movie theaters are closed.
We also ask you to please pray for the talented young people who created these AMAZING videos. We've been in contact (with some of them). And, you'll see how they use Christian and Gospel music or scriptures. Let's keep them in prayer as they expand their online businesses and walk in their callings. To God be the glory!
Let's do this!
"Ye though I walk through the valley of darkness, I shall fear no evil," (Psalm 23:4). "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day," (Psalm 91:5). "I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air," (1 Corinthians 9:26).
Kickboxing, Tae Bo and cardio can increase strength and endurance. These are heart-healthy exercises that lower the blood pressure, reduce stress and improve sleep. Here are a couple of exercises you can try at any age. These help with balance and centering your core.
Notes: Stretch before and after each workout. Consult a physician if you have a pre-existing condition. Practice these indoors if you have room or outdoors for fresh air. Go at your own pace and if you feel any pain, stop.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind," (2 Timothy 1:7). "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD, (Isaiah 54:17).
Learning basic self-defense can help to reduce fear. With incidents on the news about stranger dangers, kids need to know how to stay safe. Father God gave me this in a vision that He wants His people to learn self-defense. Maybe you're initial thinking like I did, "But we have angels." However, we take defensive driving classes. We lock our cars and doors. Even if you NEVER use self-defense techniques, the steps are another way to increase your security and protection.
Remember, the devil is trying to unleash more and more demons before Jesus's return. And, these are intimidation demons to try and make God's people afraid. We're to rebuke satan and all his demons, plead the blood of Jesus Christ and stand firm on God's Word - confidently. Adults and seniors also need to know basic safety tips to protect them. Whether you're out shopping, at church or in your neighborhood or at home, increase your knowledge and your confidence.
"For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again," (Proverbs 24:17). "Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand," (Psalm 37:24). "Then Abner said to Joab, “Now let the young men arise and hold a contest before us.” And Joab said, “Let them arise," (2 Samuel 2:14).
Potato sack races. Those moments when you're leaping frantically in the air but the little kid next to you is somehow going faster. Then there's the tug of war challenge where everyone wants to lean in but holding on is tough. With 3-leg races, are you hoping to hop across the finish line in unison? Or, falling to the grass near de 'feet' (of other players).
Tip: Potato sack races can include empty potato sacks, trash bags or pillow cases. For tug of war races, use a thick rope from Lowe's or Home Depot. And, watch out for that one uncle or deacon who might try to sneak in and tie a knot (for more leverage). Wear long pants for these challenges and stay in the grass (more cushioning for any trips or falls).
