Do Not Be Afraid...

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

The Holy Spirit has been saying, "Tell them don't be afraid for what God's about to do." Sometimes the "set-up" is really a blessing coming to YOU but it might not look that way at first. This happened to me. 

One of my writing clients asked me to work on a tough topic. I KNEW it was a set-up. There were so many statistics and all kinds of data. I KNEW he intentionally was trying to set a trap so he could accuse me of doing something wrong. I prayed to back out of it, but I could hear God telling me, "Don't say no." [Sometimes God does that, you know. He puts you in the pit with the lions or the furnace or the deepest waters - because He has a plan]. So, I said yes and gave 100% effort. Then boom. The manager I KNEW would try to attack pounced on me and threatened to fire me. But, I prayed and could hear Father God telling me to politely defend myself AND contact upper management. They intervened and that manager got in trouble instead.

Even when it LOOKS THE HARDEST, you are not alone. Let God show you in this season that He is the AUTHORITY and Our God will make the way for YOU. The test is so you can have more confidence in God. Your enemies are ALREADY defeated and under your feet. Let God show you WHO HE IS. Hallelujah to God! He is El Shaddai! 

We pray, "Father God in the name of Jesus, Lord I give you glory. Father, remove me from the hand of the enemy in Jesus's name and by God's authority. I rebuke the enemy and every snake attack. I cut it's head off and cast the head or strongman and every worker into eternal darkness. No weapons formed against me shall prosper. No harm shall come near my dwelling place and no evil shall befall. I am covered in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus's name, Amen.
