With the Jewish New Year starting on September 7th (sundown on the 6th), it's a time of fasting, prayer and repentance. September is the 9th month of the year based on the Gregorian Calendar as well as the first month of the year of the Hebrew Civil Calendar. Putting the two together gives us an end and a beginning. We also know that "9" is completion or the end and the 9th hour is when Jesus died.
We know no weapons formed against us shall prosper. It's important to read our Bibles and explore the significance of this time. A lot of Christians don't honor the Jewish New Year or understand the significance. However, Father God wanted us to highlight this. Jewish numbers, for example, are letters with significant meanings: 2 = Covenant, 8 = New Beginnings, 7 = Perfected and 5 = Grace.
This year, 2022 or 5782 will begin with the “House of the Lord” and will move outwardly. It's a Shmita year (7th sabbath, year of rest). We are witnessing an end of something and beginning of something else. Both depend on which side you are on. For some, there will be great deliverance (Ex. Passover) or a great unveiling as in a revelation that can lead to a revival. For others, it will be a great time of trouble and despair. It can also represent an unveiling, an exposure of hidden and evil agendas, corruption and lies.
We're not sure how the coming days and weeks will unfold with President Trump's reelection - only God knows. Will it happen soon? Or, later in the Fall? But, we do know we serve the Most High God who is on the Throne! We pray for God's mercy and remind everyone to repent of all sins, encourage and pray with one another, ask for Father God's mercy, and share the Prayer of Salvation:
Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I know you died on the cross for me. Please come into my heart and give me eternal life through you. I make you my Lord and Savior, in Jesus's name, Amen.
Praise the Lord! We bless and praise the name of Yeshua God!
In the Jewish calendar, we have the month of Elul. This is a specific period of one month prior to what's referred to as the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) or the Feast of Trumpets which starts at sundown on September 6, 2021. That's followed by Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) which starts at sundown on September 15th.
Elul is a time for reflection. We reflect on our choices, our lives and our actions from the past year. We use this time to draw closer to God through increased prayer, a careful review of our actions and a gentle sifting.
In Jewish prayer and liturgy during Elul, God is looked at as the King. While we may sometimes see God as being distant or aloof, during Elul, the King goes walking through His fields, so to speak. What a touching and beautiful image of God who makes Himself accessible for us. While in all actuality He's always accessible (omniscient, omnipotent), Elul represents a time of deeper intimacy with Yah. We can have a closer connection with Him as He intentionally draws closer to us.
In this time of reflection, what would you say to God if He were walking in the fields? Would you bring up your hopes and dreams or express your concerns and any fears to Him? Would you sing to Him or simply worship at His feet? Or, would you question whether you should even talk at all or use the time to listen instead?
Please consider setting time aside to spend with Father God during and even after Elul. We have a loving God who is here for us. But, we have to get quiet before Him, which is something He mentioned recently. And, even in my own business I found myself one day blasting Christian music when I heard God say "Turn the radio down." I was so busy trying to drown out the enemy's voice that I wasn't able to hear that still small voice of God.
Mother Teresa once said that in the beginning of our prayers we should be quiet. “The important thing is not what we say, but what God says to us and what He says through us.” Hence, we have to learn how to listen for and to God so we can connect with Him on a higher level.
A gift that we receive during the month of Elul is learning how to connect to the Father. We intentionally block out the busyness and find quiet time to get before him and listen. It's also a wonderful reminder that God is always present and with us and dwells among us. However, we sometimes assume He's only present when we praise Him, i.e., He inhabits the praises of His people. But, God is always here even when we're not aware of it.
Let's use this new year to draw closer to God and have a deeper walk with Him. Turn off the news, the radio and TV and come away from the distractions. Get in praise and worship, fast and pray and draw God out more. Be intentional about spending time with God. When we draw night to Him, he draws nigh to us.
When you look at your thoughts and actions over the past year, resist the urge to look back, as Father God said don't look back. Instead, consider how you will go forward and do things differently. Find ways to align yourself better with God and spending time with Him. You never know if or when you might draw closer to God and realize He's right there in the fields, walking and waiting to have a conversation with you, too. Wait for Him. To God be the glory!
The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. (Leviticus 23:23-25)
I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:50-52)
According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)
Article shared courtesy of Raptureendtimes.com:
The Lord designed the 7 major Jewish feasts around a lunisolar calendar. A lunisolar calendar is a calendar in many cultures whose date indicates both the moon phase and the time of the solar year.
The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. (Leviticus 23:1-2)
Beginning in the spring, the seven Jewish feasts are Passover (Pesach), the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShanah), the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).
The Jewish feasts are closely related to Israel’s spring and fall harvests and agricultural seasons. They were to remind the Israelites each year of God’s ongoing protection and provision. But, even more importantly, they foreshadowed the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Not only did they play significant roles in Christ’s earthly ministry but they also symbolize the complete redemptive story of Christ, beginning with His death on the cross as the Passover Lamb and ending with His second coming after which He will “tabernacle” or dwell with His people forever.
We originally posted this message on October 1, 2016 about a dream I had on September 27, 2016 about an earthquake coming to New York. Whether the dream is an actual earthquake or the shaking from God's coming judgment, I cannot say, but I will it below. Incidentally, looking back in retrospect, I believe this dream was the prophecy about the shaking coming as President Trump was elected. However, it may also be how God is going to open up the earth when He comes to judge the wicked. He's been saying that His wrath is coming and people will run and flee. He also mentioned chaos and panic on the streets when they see what God does.
Some might say "What about the Rapture?" But, Father God is saying what He's about to do is going to look like the Rapture but it's not. He's coming to help us prepare for global revival and Jesus's return/The Rapture. Pastor Johnny Enlow mentioned the number of earthquakes are increasing and we know from Pastors Hank Kunneman, Kent Christmas and Robin Bullock that these are signs God's moving and His wrath is coming.
Father God has repeatedly said that He doesn't want us afraid and said for us to calm down and don't walk away from what He says or does. He's coming to help us and together we will remove the wickedness and evil.
Here's the dream below...
Must Read and Please Share: This is not to make anyone afraid, but be aware and look at the disaster preparedness for earthquakes. I had a dream 3-nights ago about an earthquake hitting New York. In the dream, I was in an apartment building. Things started moving slowly so it was surreal because people were going about their day as usual so they didn't see the warning signs. Then things started to shake. I saw an apartment that had wooden stairs and they literally shifted off their foundation. The concern was when the shifting occurred, what would they hit? Would people be crushed?
I also saw people running to the elevator, but that's wrong because the power can fail and they can be crushed if lines are cut. There was also concerns over things falling overhead and I saw huge chandeliers and beams of wood. In the dream as I hunkered down while things shook, I heard a voice say that this was only the start and it was going to get worse.
I asked God what He wanted me to do and He said to witness to as many people as you can so I'm posting the Prayer of Salvation here and including tips on disaster preparedness. Please pay careful attention to what to do if you are in buildings because in the dream I saw people in buildings who froze, panicked and had no idea what was happening. We keep everyone in our prayers and know that we trust in God and want to see all our friends, family, loved ones, neighbors and coworkers safe.
Even if you don't think this can happen, read the prayer and look up disaster preparedness tips. Share this with family, friends, coworkers and loved ones. The last big dream I had like this was the Royal Caribbean ship that went into the storm and I posted that on Facebook, too. They went further into a storm instead of turning out of harms way and the Lord showed me this.
The Prayer of Salvation can be said by anyone of any religion who believes in Jesus. Your background, education, upbringing or past doesn't matter. It's what's in your heart to know that if anything happened today or Monday morning on your way to work that you have prayed and are covered. We pray God is with each and everyone of us always, protecting us, covering us and keeping us.
The Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I know You died on the Cross for my sins. I repent of all my sins. I turn my back on sin and I ask You to come into my heart and I make You my Lord and Savior. Lord, please give me eternal life through You and Your Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost to guide and lead me. Please wash me clean and I want to follow you for the rest of my life. Bless, cover and keep my family I pray, in Jesus's name, Amen.
