"To drive real progress, you have to change both hearts and laws. You need both understanding and action." Hillary Clinton
What an awesome God we serve! Whether you are a democrat or a republican, this election is proof that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. My mom is a big Hillary fan and eight years ago she was so disappointed, like a lot of democrats when Hillary dropped out of the race. Look at Hillary now! It's evidence that you cannot give up. You have to keep going for that "yes" despite the world saying "no" and know that you can accomplish anything you work hard at and set your mind to.
My heart went out to Hillary eight years ago because she knew her strengths despite people telling her no. For Christians, this is a crucial area where you must not become bitter because of all the naysayers, but you must keep moving forward, stay the course and be a tree firmly planted.
Despite obstacles, naysayers and so much negativity, Hillary's nomination to a major office demonstrates that women can do anything and all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose...
Below is Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton's DNC speech followed by Shonda Rhime's video profile of Hillary Clinton. The short video is narrated by none other than Morgan Freeman and focuses on Hillary Clinton's role as a champion of the people, with focus on her work for women, as well as children and 9/11 survivors. We love that she's standing up for herself and breaking through that glass ceiling. We pray for her election and for the rights of women and young girls everywhere to be respected and not exploited, valued and not undermined, loved and not disrespected or disregarded. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us...
Next up is the Fight Song. We're stronger together, united together, one nation under God. Stand firm on God's Word. Be brave and courageous...
When you pray for family, friends and neighbors, pray for our nation and our planet. Pray for our leaders in office and pray for our election.
Teddy Roosevelt once said, "You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks."
Below is President Obama's message at the DNC. This is an amazing message of hope, not hate. We pray for Trump. He doesn't understand that love trumps fear and hate, and love for one another is what God requires and what Jesus asks for. Like Saul in the New Testament, we pray he sees the light. We pray he wakes up and learns to have compassion and love for all people. Have faith in God... Nothing is impossible with God...
In the Bible, we know that love trumps hate. It also trumps fear. Jesus taught us to love one another and to pray for those who hate us, help those who spitefully use us. Keep walking in love and pray for your enemies. Don't live in fear, but walk in love. Perfect love casts out all fear.
While some think that turning a blind eye to the election is a sign of action, on the contrary it's not. President Obama has made the challenge to anyone booing about the election to vote to make changes.
"When there is no ceiling, the sky's the limit!" Hillary Clinton
When you pray, we ask that you pray for covering for everyone as God is no respecter of persons. Pray for all races and religions. Pray for all nationalities and countries. Pray that we come together to love and not judge, to build up and not put down.
"In America if you dream it, you should be able to build it." Hillary Clinton
