November Newsletter: Trust God's Timing

Trust God's Timing...

And ask for proof if you need to. Okay, so "Trust God's Timing" wasn't the original title we wanted for our November Newsletter. We wanted "Give Glory to God" or "O Give Thanks unto the Lord," but the Holy Spirit said it should be "Trust God's timing and ask for proof if you need to." God knows that there are a lot of people waiting on answers right now. Waiting on results. Waiting on the election. Waiting on that test result to come back and waiting on signs of God's covering. And He is coming, so wait on God and trust in His timing and His way.

Have thine own way Lord. Have thine own way...

TD Jakes had a great message on this week about "Wherever God guides, His hand provides." That means if He points in a direction, the way is already made. You can look out at a vast desert wasteland and see just that, a vast desert wasteland, but if God speaks that He wants you to go into that direction, then go! Your gifts will make room for you and sometimes the healing comes just from walking in the direction God commands. That desert may turn into a harvest as you walk towards it. That mud mixed from spit and dirt might have healing powers. That oil that you think is not enough can prove your doubters wrong. There is nothing impossible with God!

Check out this amazing message from Pastor Creflo Dollar on how to rest in God. To rest doesn't mean to sit back and do nothing, but you need these tips to help you rest confidently in God's Word. Learn how to not fear a negative report or the news, but speak the Word so God can bring it to pass...

Have faith and ask for signs...

Sometimes people think that asking for signs means that you don't trust God, but as long as you're obeying God's commands its okay to pray, "Lord, I am going in this direction as you have asked. Please send me confirmation."

I wrote years ago about when I went back to finish my undergraduate studies. I prayed and had a dream about a college near a body of water and when I finally found the school in the next town over, I was still reluctant - until I asked God for a sign and received more than one!

On my way to the school, there was a statue of Jesus and I stopped to pray. Taking a picture of the statue, there was a halo that looked like a rainbow in the picture (see below). I didn't see it then because the sun was so bright, but when I got home and looked back at my pictures I was so surprised! Sometimes we don't see at the time what God's doing but when we look back - - What a Mighty God we serve!

After I registered for my class and left the building feeling confident, I saw the most amazing site. There was a deer grazing near the statute of the Virgin Mary (shown below). I received the signs I needed and I knew they were for me. God will send signs when we're obedient and want to confirm we're on the right path. Ask God and know that He will always make the way. Walk by faith, not by sight, and maybe charge your phone in case you need the camera!

Tips to Help You Trust God's Timing:

  • Be anxious for nothing. Remember, half of what you thought would happen never did, so don't let the devil steal your peace or joy.
  • Keep your thoughts centered on peace and God's unchanging ways. He loves us!
  • Don't think your way into a heart attack or nervous breakdown from fear or anxiety with the news or the election. With the mind we serve the Lord.
  • If you need inspiration and help to renew your mind, look for Joyce Meyer's Battlefield of the Mind.
  • Tune into Joel Osteen, take a break, take a nap, take a vacation.
  • Don't waste any more time wrestling with other people. Walk away, keep your peace and wait on God.
  • Try not to exert more energy trying to make it happen and don't focus on changing others opinions.
  • Do what God has called you to and wait on God and His timing.
  • Lastly, remember that its the flesh that tries to push through to make happen what you want.
  • Faith waits on God to receive what God wants because you know God will bring what you need to pass in His timing.

Matthew 11:28-30: Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Our November Prayer

Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord we come to you with hearts of thanksgiving because we know it's already done! We praise you because the way has been made, our prayers have been answered and we are so thankful. We also praise you because even in areas where we can't see you working, we love and trust you and we say yes to your will. We take rest in knowing Our Comforter is coming...

Praying for Our Nation and Our Planet

As Dr. Charles Stanley has requested, we are also praying for our nation and our planet. Father God, we ask forgiveness and ask you to please heal our nation and have mercy on us. We don't worry about the election or the outcome because we serve You and only you are God alone! We praise you because even when we can't see it, you are working on our behalf. Please keep calming in our streets, and we pray that there is no civil unrest or backlash after the election.

We also take time to pray for Italy as they have suffered from more earthquakes and we pray for those in Haiti dealing with recovery efforts and cholera. We pray for the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba and all countries dealing with Zika and clean-up after the hurricanes. We keep North Carolina, New Orleans and all areas in flood zones in our prayers as they work to rebuild.

Praying for the Sick

We also pray a special prayer for healing for those with kidney disease, those with cancers and those on dialysis. We curse satan at the root and curse every demonic attack of sickness. We cancel every attack of the enemy in the name and blood of Jesus. We curse the devil and all demons of sickness at the root, may the devil and all demonic attacks that are trying to harm the body wither and die. We decree and declare healing, covering and restoration in Jesus's name and by the blood of Jesus! Hallelujah!

Praying for the Holidays

We pray for all those traveling over the holidays and ask for your traveling, grace and mercies Lord. Please cover and keep each and everyone. Please make the way so that people can afford to see their families and travel to be with them for the holidays. We pray for our military personnel and all those overseas and hope they can be reunited with their families, friends and loved ones soon.

We also ask forgiveness of all sins that our prayers might always be heard. We plead the blood of Jesus in our lives and know that no weapons formed against us shall prosper. We cancel the devil's assignment and cut the head of the enemy off in Jesus's name, amen.

The Prayer of Salvation

If you haven't said the Prayer of Salvation, now's the perfect time: Father God in the name of Jesus, Lord, I ask forgiveness of my sins. Please come into my heart. I turn my back on sin and I make you my Lord and Savior. I want to follow you for the rest of my life. Please give me eternal life through you in Jesus name, amen.

Re-dedication to Christ Prayer

If you need to rededicate your life to Christ because you feel like you've been sinning or haven't been living right, pray: Father God in the name of Jesus, I ask forgiveness of my sins and I turn my back on sin. Please help me to overcome ---- and I want to lead a better life through you. I decree and declare this day I have overcome ---- and I have the victory in Jesus name, amen.

Stay in God's shadow, stay away from sin and temptation, keep reading your Bible and keep seeking God first. Give glory to God!

Be ye doers of the Word... We pray this message blesses you today!
