Our August Prayer...

Our August Prayer

Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord we praise you because you are Our Covering. Hallelu-Yaweh! Glory to Your name! We ask you for strength and your help. We know our steps are ordered by you. In areas of our lives where we need it, help us to turn to you more, to trust you more, to seek you out and want more of you. There's so much hate in this world but we know we are to walk in love and not hate or fear. We ask for your help and angels to help us.

We also pray for our military, our police officers, EMT personnel and all those who sacrifice their lives daily on our behalf. We pray for our families, friends, neighbors and their loved ones, our communities, nation and our planet. We are one nation under You, Lord. We know we're experiencing the birthing pains as we get ready to deliver stronger ministries and greater prayer warriors to get the church/bride ready for her Groom/Jesus. We pray for your help and guidance, in Jesus's name.

Lord, the devil is under our feet. We pray for Florida while they are still dealing with Zika. We pray for Puerto Rico and we also pray for Rio as 18,000 athletes are preparing for the Olympics. Please cover them in the name and blood of Jesus. There is so much sexual sin in Rio. There are terror threats, a suspicious package was just detonated there. They've had suspicious fires and the torch was extinguished. There have been thefts of the athletes' belongings and there is bacteria in the water. They also have very little security and they are expecting crowds everywhere. We pray to cancel the devil's assignment and we ask for your covering and grace over all those traveling to/from the games. We pray for these areas to have more jobs, a better economy and government and healing for their land. We pray for them and we pray for their covering and safety, in Jesus's name.

We also pray for areas in California still dealing with brush fires and we pray for every area impacted by floods. Please help Maryland in their recovery efforts from the severe floods. We also pray for Jamaica, the Bahamas and Cuba and other areas in the path of the tropical storm that's approaching and may head toward Mexico. Let it dissipate into nothing and stay at sea.

Lastly, Lord we pray over our election. We pray for our ministers and clergy. We pray for all those who hold office to make the right decisions and have the help they need. We pray that they respect others and also honor You and put you back in the White House. We pray for the truth to come out about the election and anything hidden in the dark and ulterior motives to be brought to light. We pray for continued peace in our economy, for us to have more jobs and a calm market. We also pray for our children as they head back to school and college. Surround them with covering and favor so they can focus on their studies. Lord we praise you for the victory and every adversary is defeated in Jesus's name. Lord we keep our hearts and minds staid on thee. We love you and we trust you and we know no weapons formed against us shall ever be able to prosper, in Jesus's name and by the blood of Jesus we pray, amen.
