Have you ever turned on the news and seen a message that read, "Start Here"? The news is filled with so many discouraging and misleading messages. And, it's one of the reasons we're working on our newspaper to bring you the Good News of God!

Watching the news or getting news information online won't tell you what's going on in the Spirit realm. For example, do you ever see the news saying, "The devil is acting up but good news is on the horizon: Jesus is coming back soon! You have to open your Bible to hear God clearly.

Stay away from anything discouraging or distracting. Our Comforter is coming so keep reading your Bible for inspiration. God is on the throne, not man.

When You're Exposed to Attacks: Why You Need a Virtual Prayer Network (VPN)

It was a friend's frantic email that caught my attention, "Don't reply to my emails or open links. My computer was hacked, called police an". The subject line cut off but I understood what had happened. A friend who travels a great deal was exposed to a hacking incident. And, I knew why.

As a writer, I research the articles all the time. It's called a "man-in-the-middle attack". A third party infiltrates a computer and server and intercepts the connection. It's from using public wifi in hotels, airports and coffee shops. When I saw my friend's message, I sent them a separate email suggesting they set up a virtual private network (VPN).

A VPN encrypts the person's identity online and they can safely surf the net. But, as I typed the message to them, the Holy Spirit said, "Psalm 35". I added it and as I was reading the chapter, I understood what it meant. When we're dealing with offenses from the enemy, we need prayer so that we can overcome. Whether it's a neighbor or church friend or a prayer line, never go it alone because you're more prone to spiritual attacks.

The devil likes to isolate and then disseminate. To avoid this, prayer covers you so that you can have the strength to overcome the enemy and get through the attack to get to your victory. In the case of the computer, the VPN hides the person's internet service provider (ISP) and encrypts all their data. In the case of our prayer lives, Jesus's blood and God's covering hides us from the enemy. We can stay in God's shadow and live victoriously knowing that we're covered by the Most High God!

PS: The Holy Spirit said to remind you, "God is preparing a table/setting for YOU and God has a hedge of protection around you." All that you see going on around you. It's God preparing something GREAT for you. So, don't get discouraged and go by what you see. The enemy is NOT winning. God's people are - You are ALWAYS on God's mind. Keep praising God and giving Him glory and get ready to receive!
