The Holy Spirit Said, "Tell Them You Don't Have to Worry for What I'm About To Do."

The Holy Spirit said, "Tell them you don't have to worry for what I'm about to do." God is an ever-present help and He knows our needs.

A few years ago when I was still in undergrad, I was nervous about a test. I studied but I didn't have anyone who could drill me on statistics. I had just gotten on a bus heading to school when a man across from me struck up a conversation. He looked like a loner/hippy type. But, I know sometimes we entertain angels so we have to watch what we say. I told him I was going to take my exam. For the entire ride, he explained statistics. Clearly this man was sent by God. He gave me his cell phone number and I sent a text message to him thanking him a week or two later. I got an 'A' on the exam.

Sometimes, we think the things that are important to us don't matter to God or we don't see Him on that level. We'll Google it or ask friends but we don't always ask God. David went through this in the Old Testament. But, God told David one day in so many words, "All you have to do is ask."

Ask Father God for what you need. The Bible states, "Let your requests be made known unto Him" and "Ask and ye shall receive." God isn't so big or too busy that He won't help. But, the key is that we have to go to Him FIRST. As someone once said in a sermon, "God is a gentleman." Meaning, He'll help with whatever we ask for if we go to Him with a sincere heart. Ask Father God if you're doing something the right way. Ask Him for a day off. God wants relationship with His people.

Thank You, Father God that you are always here for us. Let us learn to draw closer to you and hear Your voice so you can draw closer to us.
