Redeeming Love

This film, produced by Roma Downey and Cindy Bond, is the adaptation of the bestselling novel Redeeming Love. Synopsis: Sold into prostitution as a child, Angel knows nothing but betrayal. Can her heart ever be mended? Based upon the novel by Francine Rivers.

“The story reflects the redemptive power of unconditional and sacrificial love with characters and circumstances relevant to the contemporary world,” the film’s synopsis reads.

NOTE: While this movie is produced by Roma Downey, this movie includes a child and young adult prostitution topic and may be a bit too sexually explicit for some. The trailer includes a sexual scene that some may find offensive.

Courageous: Legacy

From the Kendrick Brothers, creators of the No. 1 box-office movie WAR ROOM and OVERCOMER, comes the remastered re-release of COURAGEOUS Legacy, now playing in theaters. Celebrating 10 years of impact on families and fathers, this updated version of the film includes new scenes and an enhanced look and sound.

Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, they are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. When tragedy hits home, they are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God ... and to their children?

Filled with action-packed drama, COURAGEOUS Legacy will once again have viewers laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children. Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That's courageous.

A Week Away

Shared via Christian Post: The first Netflix original faith-based musical, "A Week Away," features a slew of rearranged contemporary Christian music hits with a compelling story of a troubled young man whose life is transformed. The idea for the movie came from Christian singer and actor Alan Powell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kali Bailey.

Shot in Nashville, Tennessee, the film follows "troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn) who has a run-in with the law that puts him at an important crossroad: go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp. At first a fish-out-of-water, Will opens his heart, discovers love with a camp regular (Bailee Madison), and finds a sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it," according to Netflix. Others featured in the cast is Sherri Shepherd, David Koechner, Jahbril Cook, Kat Conner Sterling, and Iain Tucker.

"A Week Away" is filled with well-known contemporary Christian music that has been reimagined. Adam Watts ("High School Musical 3") Powell and Cory Clark worked together to pen three original songs for the faith-based film. "A Week Away" is available on Netflix.

Through his friendship with a young coworker, Mickey, Ben finds the secret to a happy family . . . with his Bible in one hand, and his phone in the other.

The Farmer and the Belle: Real Love

Days before Thanksgiving during a fashion shoot, NYC Supermodel Belle Winters (and a horse) in pink pajamas gets dumped publicly by her Latin pop star fiancé on ERN Gossip News. Flooded by flashbulbs, the blonde beauty flees the biting press to hide where no one could imaginably find her (not even her agent)… the deep south with a pig secret.

In this classic Christmas comedy movie, Belle finds herself a fish-out-of-water, with her broken down Lamborghini, high fashion iconic clothing and an allergy to manual labor. Not to mention, the farmer’s "pumpkin’licious" six-year-old daughter waking her up before the rooster crows… to chase chickens. Belle is forced to stay Thanksgiving through Christmas season, in what resembles the backdrop of the nursery rhyme, The Farmer in the Dell, finding real love.

“The Farmer and The Belle” is a feel-good Christmas comedy movie creating family tradition every Thanksgiving through Christmas season. Caught up in the hilarity of never-seen-before farm festivities, pearls of wisdom are the best gift given. Reuniting with Josh Carpenter, the farmer from the dell, Belle learns real love does not come from Facebook, but the real love of God. Thinking of things worthy of thanksgiving is best for treating mental tornadoes, and beauty does not come from the glitz of a magazine cover.

Right when Belle’s big secret is revealed, all havoc breaks loose: pigs, paparazzi and surprise comedic guest appearances creating one memorable Christmas Fair no one is gonna wanna miss.
