LET GOD STIR THE WATERS October 14 2014

There is a Siamese fighting fish called Plakat Thai or Betta, for short, that has to be trained to fight. The owner literally has to swirl his hand around the bowl so that the fish can be trained. The fish doesn't swim with the current though, he's taught to swim against it, thereby strengthening him. Owners are also taught not to over-train these fighting fish. If they swirl the waters too much, like longer than 5-minutes, the fish might give up if he senses he has no strength or power. The owner would know because the fish would then swim in the direction of his hand/the current, or just stop swimming altogether.

Know beloved, that in all things, God has His hand on you. The right hand of Our Just One upholds us. Take everything to the Lord in prayer. He always makes a window, and know, that nothing happens without God's consent/approval/knowledge. When you feel like you're under attack, ask God if He is training or preparing you? Strengthening you? Teaching you a lesson? Don't give up and assume the enemy has the upper hand and will win. The battle is not yours, it's the Lord's and God is on our side. Don't worry, don't be afraid and don't doubt God. God is always on the throne. Stay in God's shadow. Ask God for His mercy, fresh oil, anointing, favor and vision and know that sometimes when God swirls the waters its just to strengthen you and call you higher.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
