Tips/Caution
There are concerns aside from unsafe and fake ISO glasses, that some glasses may not work or that the sun can still cause eye damage. Be especially careful as it gets dark, to put on your headlights, and be mindful of driver fatigue and people standing and parked temporarily in the roads. One article stated to watch out for other drivers after the eclipse that might have sun damage to their eyes and might not know it. We pray traveling grace and God's mercies. Another article expressed that Oregon with such dry conditions, needs to be careful of so many cars parking on the grass that could spark a fire. Please keep an eye on all children who may want to wander off and look up at the eclipse.

PRAYER
We pray for the safety of all, we pray for no gun violence on the roads, we pray that people turn to God, not just turn to take selfies. We pray for peace in the north and south. We pray for healing on our streets. We pray for anyone suffering from gun violence and for the officers and families affected over the weekend in PA and FL. We pray for Sierra Leone that they receive relief efforts and for those in areas recovering from severe floods. We pray for healing in Barcelona.
We pray and repent of all sins and ask for God's mercy. We pray to hear from God and as we see His special signs and wonders, we are reminded of the dire need to witness and pray for the salvation of others. We pray humbly as we enter these 40-days before Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Lord, hear our prayers, heal our hearts, heal and fix the divide. Let us draw closer to you in prayer, praying one for another, and preparing for the Bridegroom Jesus.
We also pray, Lord, as some have questioned if this eclipse is a sign to repent before a huge earthquake, other natural disaster, or civil or nuclear war, and we pray, Lord and ask for your mercy. You said to David, all we have to do is ask. We pray for healing from sicknesses, we pray for express income for mortgages, rents and car notes to be paid. We pray for debt cancellation. We pray for covering and for our babies to be safe in school. Bless, cover and keep, we pray, our families, friends, communities, and planet.
We know this Year of Jubilee we can look to you with great expectation. We love you and You will guide us and never fail us. We know we have your Holy Ghost/Spirit power to guide us and angels to protect us. Show us the way, Lord. Send us signs of your goodness. We look to the hills and our help comes from you. The Eclipse: A Time to Reflect and Repent
Have you heard the news? A total solar eclipse will take place across the continental United States on August 21st. This hasn't happened in almost a century.
On this date, about 60% of the sun will be covered resulting in semi-darkness around parts of the United States. From parts of the Pacific Northwest to South Carolina, if you live within about a 60-mile radius of the total solar eclipse, you may see firsthand as the sky goes dark and the temperature drops. The eclipse should last for an estimated 2 1/2 minutes.
Can you go blind by watching a total solar eclipse?
The danger with a total eclipse is that you can indeed go blind by watching one directly. How? As the full eclipse takes place, your eyes will adjust to the dark surroundings. When you have a sudden burst of light following this, it can damage and harm the eyes.
Is God trying to give us a sign of some sort?
Historically, people have used the heavens, the stars, weather, and sun to look for signs from God. According to Pastor Mark Blitz, a total solar eclipse can be a warning sign to those in its path. It happened to Jonah with Nineveh and before World War I. For Christians, it's a good sign about the end times. Read Joel and Revelation. It's also a sign to pray, repent, and witness to others about Christ.
If you look at this eclipse, it's exactly 40-days (the 1st day of the month of Elul) until Yom Kippur. Jonah's eclipse may not be a coincidence. It happened again in 1914 when war was threatened from June of that year until August. Because these are the end times, scientists and Bible scholars are taking note of the "sign of the times." You see, a month after the eclipse, we start the Days of Awe. This is from Rosh Hashanah which is on Tishri 1 until Yom Kippur on Tishri 10. Some anticipate that a great sign of God can come in September in the celestial signs. This has been described in Revelation 12 and in the book of Joel.

Why it's important to repent and share the Gospel of God...
Revelation 12:1 -2 states, "A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth." It's been noted that the woman represents the nation of Israel and the 12-stars are the 12 tribes of Israel. That means for Christians, it is an amazing time to see Revelations come to pass, but it's also a time to remember to pray and witness to others about these end times.
The danger here is that the church will be sleeping and going about their business as usual, but we must be mindful of the times and to repent. Consider the scripture, "I look to the hills. My help comes from the Lord." We're also reminded of the scripture, "Repent, the hour is at hand." We pray and ask for God's mercy.

The Sign of Jonah and the Binding of Satan...

Given the possibility that the repentance of the Ninevites at the preaching of Jonah can be attributed to the Bur-Sagale Eclipse, we have some grounds to suggest that the original "sign of Jonah" consisted of the appearance of a total solar eclipse over the site of ancient Nineveh. When we look to Christ's statement concerning the appearance of the "sign of Jonah" to a wicked and perverse generation, we find that these words were made immediately after His discourse on the binding of the strong man - which according to St. Augustine of Hippo, is an integral component of the prophecy of the unbinding of Satan at the end of the "thousand years" mentioned in Rev 20:
The Lord Jesus Christ Himself says, No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man
— meaning by the strong man the devil, because he had power to take captive the human race; and meaning by his goods which he was to take, those who had been held by the devil in various sins and iniquities, but were to become believers in Himself. It was then for the binding of this strong one that the apostle saw in the Apocalypse an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a chain in his hand. And he laid hold,
he says, on the dragon, that old serpent, which is called the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
— that is, bridled and restrained his power so that he could not seduce and gain possession of those who were to be freed. (St. Augustine of Hippo, City of God XX:7)
So in relation to the sacrificial death of Jesus and His resurrection on the third day, the "sign of Jonah" harks back to the three days the prophet spent in the belly of the fish. An event which foreshadowed the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Christ - which in turn brought about the binding of Satan.
But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.
(Matt 12:39-41)
Therefore as well as pointing us towards the significance of a total solar eclipse over the site of ancient Nineveh, the "sign of Jonah" is also intimately connected to the binding and unbinding of Satan.
It is surely beyond coincidence in this regard that the start of the First World War was marked by a total solar eclipse which directly traversed the site of ancient Nineveh in Mosul, Iraq on 21st August, 1914. The World War I Eclipse crossed over the battlefields of war-torn eastern Europe before making its way down towards Nineveh - an event which took place on the feast day of Our Lady of Knock, a Marian apparition which appears to have announced the imminence of the opening of the seven seals by the Lamb of Revelation.

The details describe a dream I had about an earthquake coming to New York. Whether it's an actual earthquake or the shaking from God's coming judgment, I cannot say, but I will repost the dream and message as I had it...
REPOST: Must Read and Please Share: This is not to make anyone afraid, but be aware and look at the disaster preparedness for earthquakes. I had a dream 3-nights ago about an earthquake hitting New York. In the dream, I was in an apartment building. Things started moving slowly so it was surreal because people were going about their day as usual so they didn't see the warning signs. Then things started to shake. I saw an apartment that had wooden stairs and they literally shifted off their foundation. The concern was when the shifting occurred, what would they hit? Would people be crushed?
I also saw people running to the elevator, but that's wrong because the power can fail and they can be crushed if lines are cut. There was also concerns over things falling overhead and I saw huge chandeliers and beams of wood. In the dream as I hunkered down while things shook, I heard a voice say that this was only the start and it was going to get worse. 2-nights ago the weather channels reported about the San Andreas fault, so I don't know if the time frame has to do with what I saw in my dream.
I asked God what He wanted me to do...
